Communication is at the heart of everything we do. It is how we connect with one another, share information, tell stories, build relationships, and most importantly, proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Whether through our website, social media, email, photography, video, livestreaming, digital presentations, announcements, or other media platforms, communication allows us to extend the ministry of Mount Olive far beyond the walls of our church.
Our Mission
The Communication Ministry is committed to sharing Mount Olive’s message and ministry in a clear, creative, timely, and Christ-centered way. We work alongside our pastor, church leadership, ministries, and members to ensure that our congregation and community remain informed, connected, and engaged.
As technology continues to change the way people communicate, we strive to use today’s tools effectively while never losing sight of the message we have been called to share.
Communicating Christ
Jesus Christ demonstrated the greatest example of communication the world has ever known. He connected with people personally, met them where they were, listened to their needs, shared truth with compassion, and ultimately demonstrated God’s love through His life, death, and resurrection.
That same love is at the center of our communication ministry.
Every photograph captured, video produced, livestream broadcast, announcement shared, social media post published, and message delivered presents an opportunity to reach someone with hope.
Our technology may change. Our platforms may evolve. But our message remains the same: Jesus Christ.
